Grabbing fuel lowers your speed. You have to carry the fuel to a special pile, on an elevator. After a certain amount of fuel has been loaded onto the elevator, the teams have to ride on the elevator to the top, where it's loaded into the rocket. The more fuel on the elevator, the slower it moves. This goes on until one team has filled their fuel bar, and the rocket explodes.

I see it like this: There are a few caches of fuel. You must bring fuel to power your elevator as the team plays keep-away with the briefcase. When you've powered your elevator to the top you have to put the briefcase into the rocket and it launches before crashing and killing everyone.

Nobody probably cares, but I have come up with my own speculation on Pyro's story. Pyro was created in a lab. Poopy Joe was assigned to be its companion, Poopy Joe got sent off to the space program, seperating it from the pyro, the pyro goes insane, grabs a fire resistant suit, mask, and flamethrower and burns the complex down. The stolen australium which was replaced with gravel water is then put into the rocket by the mercs, the rocket explodes, killing everyone on the site. "The darkest day in TF history"
