And not giving recipes for a month was inexcusable.
Do you think summer scout items will return this year? I'm wondering if I should trade them for a huge profit and hope they do or not.
The Summer Sale is rumored to start on Wednesday. That means they'd only have a week after this update to put together a Summer Update. I don't see it happening, at least not tied to the Summer Sale. But there has to be a time for the Ice Cream Sandvich and ND's Soldier packs, so I'm hoping for a late July summer update.

I'm just scared that the summer items will come back and drop the value by a shitton.

The community made weapons didn't drop for a week, only the Weta items dropped from day 1. The community items couldn't even be token crafted.

I got a feeling in my gut. Something big is gonna happen on the last day, aside from Meet the Pyro. something more then new weapons and hats, something big. Oh, and Adult Swim stuff getting explained.

It's a long shot, but I'm hoping for a new spy watch. I'm nearly positive the only class weapon slot to not get a new addition since its original class update is the Spy's watch slot.

I'm trying to indicate that the community shouldn't give the impression that charging for something that was free in the past and should stay that way is justified. That gives developers/publishers the idea that we'll deal out our money without argument, when that's totally the opposite of how people actually feel about DLC. For 90% of modern DLC, people contemptuously shell out money for it. Doesn't make it right or justified. Plus, in Valve's case. It wouldn't even work with the whole F2P system. The cash shop has brought them so much money they would never need to make pay-for updates.

It is expected that you can craft or drop weapons Day 1 of the update, and Valve also advertises TF2 as a fair free to play game, boasting that all gameplay affecting items can be earned in game without the need to pay so it was also hypocritical up until you could get them without buying them.

This update essentially throws the whole "mann vs machine" out of the window, I don't see what's so great about a gamemode where you carry your intel to a capture point is, there's already user made maps like this.. Looking forward meet the pyro, but I don't see the point of the rest.
