Everytime I buy keys at first I'm always, sell those keys and maybe get yourself a large stockpile of metal or a fancy new hat, but than I notice the crates in my inventory... than I use every single key to unbox an unusual and all I get is some stranges, 5 stupid Strange Overdoses... barely even a single hat unbox.

They updated the Pocket Lint backpack image, but this already happened in the [URL="http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/June_20,_2012_Patch"]June 20, 2012 Patch[/URL].

Back in my day, we didn't even get stranges as a consolation prize! We got Jags, and we liked it!

I was, actually. The novelty's worn off a bit. Admittedly, that might be because strange Russians have stopped sending me random friend requests asking for my hat and my soldier medal, promising great fortunes of flare guns.

That was seriously annoying, I'd love it if they just made it so the new game mode achievements unlock (some of) the weapons rather than having to idle for a week to get enough metal/the specific parts to craft them.

I've actually been playing since around a year or so after TF2's release, so I know what you mean. Just because I have a June 2012 account doesn't make me new to TF2. :v:

Also, on the topic of crafting recipes, I've been hoarding any and every spare Grordbort weapon that drops as well as trading for many of them so I have a leg up in crafting the new Grordbord sets. Maybe I should still stock up on some Deus Ex weapons since they are also futuristic and were used in the Australian Christmas Grordbort crafting recipes.

True, but keep in mind several of those sets could be too recent to appear in the update. Still, I certainly agree with you though.
