Regarding the earlier schema update that added Mysterious Promo 5 and updated the backpack image for the Pocket Lint, I've created a visual diff for the image. It just seems to be slightly less fluffy. Why they did this, I have no idea.

This might sound silly but, I think MvM will be shipped with Saxxies, rainbows, i know. I just dont expect valve to pull out 2 gamemodes, but they probably will and say fuck you, we're valve and we're crazies, and we're shipping not 1, but 2, yes 2, gamemodes.

I think Source Film Maker is coming soon after Pyromania. To be part of the 2nd Saxxies.

I actually have a TF2 lore question: has there ever been any indication of what TF Industries gets out of all this? RED and BLU are controlled by the Mann brothers who think they're gaining/losing territories and facilities in the battle against their brother which keeps them involved. Mann Co. is making a killing selling weapons and ammo to TF Industries who supplies the RED and BLU mercs... But what exactly do they get out of it? I seem to remember something about RED and BLU collectively owning pretty much every major business in the world through some means or another, but yet they are somehow controlled by the Administrator who owns TF Industries... Or did I not remember some of that correctly?

I think what TF Industries mostly gets out of the deal is, however, the sadistic pleasure the Administrator derives from controlling both teams to the fullest extent, pitting them against eachother like attack dogs, and playing puppet master over everyone involved.

There will be 5 sets announced today. Mark my words.

RED and BLU are both two rival super corporations fighting for world domination basically. Not "World Domination" as "Enslave humanity", but as "To be the leading brand with control over all other companies in the world". This was the main story when the game was released, the part with the announcer was made up later upon fan art of the announcer being the same person for both teams. In terms of how that makes sense now, I'd say that the Administrator is mostly just fueling the fire so that she can profit from selling equipment to both teams. Best times for the people who supply weapons is after all in times of war.

Damn ninjas...

Actually during the WAR! update... didn't Hale GIVE those weapons away to distance himself from the whole Poopy Joe thing? So maybe it's all give away equipment from Hale that she sells. That would float, right?

Australium probably powers the Life Extending Machines, too. Hell it could even power the respawn machines.

My ideal update would be: another new game mode, a new map or two, a pyro item set I don't really care for any other item sets, because they're mainly all worse than vanilla.
