Now that this is over, let me reveal a fact! For the first few hours the code to generate the images just plain didn't work, because I forgot to url encode the base64 PNG. I didn't realize this until I downloaded it and noticed that the header said "PNcG" instead of what it was supposed to even though the hex dumps worked fine the whole time. Okay. That's enough. We won. Boxes please.

I still think that our next hint is somewhere in these two pages of text... I want to sleep...But instead im going to be over analyzing this.

Good work everyone! Time for plot discussion: Seems like the Poopy Joe incident was a cover-up for Mann Co. to steal America's Australium supply, which is odd, to say the least. Makes me ponder why Hale would do that, considering his origin country's ample supply of the stuff. Considering this is supposed to be "Mann vs. Machine", I have to wonder which side we're going to be on. It sounds to me like the game mode is going to be Saxton Hale vs. the robots, and not the player base vs. the robots. All I can think of is that MvM is going to be Valve's version of VSH, but we control robotic avatars of the 9 classes against him. Just some speculation.

My website (tf2-magic) was posted everywhere as main place to submit codes. I went to sleep and left it running without supervision, I am glad that nothing broke and everything is done now. Good job, everyone!

ned would be proud of us, we managed to decode the last of the story, and now we got a something... what exaclty did we accomplish anyway?!

I just hope that all of this madness qe lived today pays off in some kind and not just ended it with "a funny Hale story". I bet there's tired people over there who work their brains all day off to make this possible. Also, my brain hurts too. Time to relax until tomorrows crazyness I guess.

Woah, I just realized how crazy the scale of this update is and all we've received so far is teasing. Think about it... Bananas, The Pyro, Saxton Hale, Poopy Joe, London, Sherlock Holmes, Tobor, Diaries, Error Codes, Outer Space, Court Cases, Pocket Lint, Man vs Machine, Goldfish, Medic's mystery solving items, Australium, and more. All this, and to think we haven't even gotten to the official update announcement.

What if the Australium is in reference to the fact he has saxxys and the golden wrench? They already told us there's new saxxies coming a long time ago

In the engineer update Dell gets all of Radigan Conagher's blueprints, and on the engineer update page there is an anatomical drawing of a robot amongst Conagher's plans. Then in the Engineer Update teaser movie, the robot head shows up in the background. I'd bet that the engineer makes the robots for some reason.
