Think of god.

SUF is the shittier toilet, but the OP of that wanted some exposure

This was 100% the hardest thing I have ever implemented via schema.
Meet the first c_weapon with attachments only in the player view.
It's a frankenstein monster of code, borrowing from natascha, the destroy tool and the festive flamethrower. But there she is.
And using 99% c_models (the attachment is v because no c exists), so Valve should be okay with it (I hope)
So someone said the latest blog post was morse code and it translates into "Monday"
Is this accurate or what?

If you are still doing schema work, somebody on SPUF actually did some decent work and gave the Assassin Creed promo hat a new paint style. He was looking for someone to implement it, and I thought that sounded right up your alley.

it was made by valve and morse code isn't a thing you can do by accident really so
why the fuck are you asking this
I dont know how you can decode morse code if its text. But I dont know a lot about morse code.
Is each M a "tick" or whatever?

people have explained it so many times in this thread so just read back a few pages and stop being lazy

So... does that mean the Crit Glow works correctly now?
Sorry I have no idea what any of this code stuff means...

There's no need to be a dick about it. I just got home from work and saw 1300 new posts all of a sudden.

Long hmmmphs are -, short hmphs are . now figure the rest yourself

There's been an enormous influx of people who don't read or don't follow coming into the thread and posting stuff, normally everyone would be polite but politeness ran out a thread ago halfway through the banana error code posts..

I'm not that into morse codes, but here's an example:
Take "mmmmm mmmmmp mmmmmph", wich stands for "O":
M = long tick
p = short tick
h = end of the letter
Result: --- = "O"
May not be accurate
Long hmmmphs are -, short hmphs are . now figure the rest yourself
Rude.
Such hostility, cut the guy some slack. But yeah MrCasual, they deciphered the long and short mmphs into morse code; spelling out M O N D A Y. Much to mine and everyone else's dismay.

Send me boxes if you must, but in my tired state I thought for a minute that it was a Scot Res. Jumper.
Man, that would be...interesting.
no seriously though ned if you could point out what you did that'd be cool
You're talking about all the coding shit you did and I want to know what is you did :v:
[editline]23rd June 2012[/editline]
wait I'm so fucking dumb, I just thought that was the scottish resistance
it's something else isn't it
I forgot to mention, Ned I really like that poof of smoke for the jumper weapons. I'd love to see it added to the game, here's hoping it gets in.
Also for the love of fuck; let monday be the night.
Speaking of the Scottish Resistance, I never really got why it got so much neglect, I quite like it. Guess everyone is just so used to demo-spamming with the regular sticky bomb launcher, that their dissapointed this weapon can't do the same thing.

I improved the quality of the scottish resistance player view in a way that Valve will appreciate and could potentially be open to using by doing some new stuff Valve had never tried (like using a totally different c_model for player and world views).
Saw you helped the one person with the schema, Ned. Thanks!

It's a god send if you play defensively, but as we all know the average memodan relies on offensive sticky shooting.
Man I'd love to see some more sticky and grenade launchers for the demo.

It's pretty much "Chokepoint: The Weapon". I love it.

I don't understand coding lingo :v: Maybe that's why I just play the games, and admire the folks who make em. Nonetheless, good on you. You've got a skill I sure as hell don't have.

long mmmph's are dashes and short mph's are dots so it is -- --- -. -.. .- -.-- which translates to monday
Anyone else going to take a crack at a bingo card? Don't get me wrong, I know bingo is usually lame, but at least its a fun way to pass time until Monday.
I will spend my time waiting for monday by sending Gabe tons of McDonald's coupons.
COMING THIS SUMMER
HE BLEW UP IN A FREAK ACCIDENT
(pause)
BUT NOW
THEY REBUILT HIM
AND HE IS THIRSTY
NOT FOR BANANA JUICE
BUT FOR REVENGE
ROBOTS WILL BLOW UP
EXPLOSIONS WILL HAPPEN
AND ONE MONKEY WILL REIGN SUPREME
MONKEY VS MACHINE
COMING EVENTUALLY
