I dont know how you can decode morse code if its text. But I dont know a lot about morse code. Is each M a "tick" or whatever?
Morse code is made from combinations of two characters. "Dits" . and "dahs" - One is short and one is long (typically three times longer I think). With the blog post we just go by mph length.
Speaking of the Scottish Resistance, I never really got why it got so much neglect, I quite like it. Guess everyone is just so used to demo-spamming with the regular sticky bomb launcher, that their dissapointed this weapon can't do the same thing.
I don't know about that. Since it can shoot the stickies so quickly, you can still use it offensively, just not as in-your-face as the regular launcher. I'm partial to shooting a handful of stickies really quickly under their feet, then using grenades to deter them from getting too close. They either stay too close to the stickies without realising it, or they run away completely and I set up four or five traps for them.
Oh and let's not forget the Scottish Resistance completely unique taunt. Best taunt ever.
SR owns in certain situations. Mostly on defense in maps like dustbowl. The lack of airbursting sucks but it makes up for it with the sheer amount of bombs you can lay down. It's not supposed to be used for sneaky traps (of course you could do that) but more as an area denial weapon. When most people see 12 stickies on ground they tend to stay away. Most of the time the demo doesn't even need to be tending his bombs to be effective.
I'm going to have a nice, calm, relaxing weekend......then hype the fuck out for the following week
Oh god, I just got back from my first ban. It was terrifying, I don't even want to talk about it. But thankfully I still managed to get some of the news of everything that went down in the last 12 hours. Can someone catch me up to date on anything I've missed? All I know is of Valve's partnership with Adult Swim and the Pyro Blog Post hinting to Monday starting an update.

So hopefully it'll be included with the major update, hopefully...
Ned, buddy, while we're talking about you, can I just say what a cool dude you are? You're always looking out for the community with e-mails and schemas and always provide the best news and insight... you're a true bro, my friend. I look forward to your contributions to the upcoming update.

What'd you do? :v: Also yeah, you haven't missed much, and welcome back.
Anyone else gonna keep an eye on Toonami tonight? Who knows, something TF2 related might come up.
houston, we have lift off [thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/577833752923584277/24A5F4FC7EE048BC1B43A7B5E58F07F6C8376C47/[/thumb] This was 100% the hardest thing I have ever implemented via schema. Meet the first c_weapon with attachments only in the player view. It's a frankenstein monster of code, borrowing from natascha, the destroy tool and the festive flamethrower. But there she is. And using 99% c_models (the attachment is v because no c exists), so Valve should be okay with it (I hope)
what about the sticky jumper?
lol I see no difference whatsoever
[t]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/c_sr.jpg[/t]
Such hostility, cut the guy some slack. But yeah MrCasual, they deciphered the long and short mmphs into morse code; spelling out M O N D A Y. Much to mine and everyone else's dismay.
Speak for yourself, we've got what very well could be a CONFIRMED RELEASE DATE. I'd say that's pretty damn good V:v:V
After reading this thread I will never ever underestimate the thinking power of the internet.
After reading this thread I will never ever underestimate the thinking power of the internet.
In that case I know all of your secrets. You will send one million dollars in unmarked bills to the address written on the back of your cookie jar in the kitchen or risk everybody finding out about.... Well, you know what.
Speak for yourself, we've got what very well could be a CONFIRMED RELEASE DATE. I'd say that's pretty damn good V:v:V
all we got was a MONDAY. It could be ANY Monday. I'm praying for THIS monday though :c
Of course next week is the one week of summer I'm not free.
What the fuck. Since when did this happen?
Holy shit
oh wait nevermind it's just the wiki spergs celebrating MTP or something
I'm actually the first to find something new here for once? Cool. Good thing I was browsing the wiki out of boredom.
The plot thickens!
Anyone know what this page is about? http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/User:EpicEric/PyroCredits
I like it, especially how the pyro has been shopped into articles. Must have taken effort.
Despite being the official wiki, Valve has little if any input to it. That's likely just the wiki admins (who are not Valve employees) having some fun.
I think Meet the Pyro is coming.
Love it, just pulled my hype train ticket out of the bin, BACK ON BOARD WOO!
-snip- wrong paste
The wiki isn't run by valve. They did the same thing with the medic update. Cool your jets
Basicly their conveying their as excited about the Meet the Pyro update as we are. That's why I like the TF2 wiki, they don't take themesleves too seriously. The April Fools jokes are just genious and expertly crafted.
