Major Update Speculation Thread V4: Tonight's the Night For QR Codes - Games

Do you guys think it's over, and now we just wait for the big update, or there's something else? We still have 6 useless items and a mysterious Sherlock Holmes quote.

The items may have a use during the actual update, but until then, we wait.

The weekend is going to be boring.

Just out of curiosity, I forget. What did the wiki staff do for the Uber update that you guys mentioned in comparison to this update?

Here's the pieces of the puzzle: *Adult Swim *The Random Items (Fish, Lint, etc.) *TOBOR *MvM (most likely related to TOBOR) *Meet the Pyro *Mysteries/Holmes *The Scorch Shot *Poopy Joe *Saxxies *Grordbort Round 3 Personally, I think that the Holmes/Mystery stuff is just for fun. The random items tie into Meet the Pyro in some way (they'll either pay off in crafting some neat items or they're just shit the Pyro collects off the clock). The Adult Swim thing is either a televised premiere of Meet the Pyro, the Saxxies, or a TF2 series/miniseries of some sort. Either way, I expect a promo item for those of us who signed up for their newsletter. Poopy Joe will either tie in with TOBOR and MvM (probably just in the comic or something) or with the Grordbort items (or both, which wouldn't exactly be a long shot). But I do know TWO things for sure: 1. We'll know much more on Monday. 2. I'm going the hell to sleep.

Not to mention certain maps had exploding bird props. and the scout's lungs were seemingly replaced by a bird (it's still in there, actually) and also bird shit coated the ground of each map, making each class slip around when they tried to walk it was kind of a pain in the ass, really.

Think of the hellish cruelty that Valve brought on us. I hope they'll at least give us a little hint or someting on holidays, after that ammount of information its hard to calm down. They did it during War update, at least.

Doubtful though, because there already was a Gray Senator character.
