On Wednesday, wearing cosmetic detective themed items for the medic caused the item descriptions to change to unveil fragments of a Sherlock Holmes quotes. On Thursday, Valve updated the game a third time to cause crafting bananas to produce error codes in multiple foriegn languages. The banana error codes formed QR codes, revealing a court case transcript about Saxton Hale, Poopy Joe, and stolen Australium. Meanwhile, Valve teased a flare gun from the upcoming update in a blog post talking about how to create and submit user weapons. Today, Valve released a blog post by the Pyro; his mph's were morse code for "Monday." On a likely related note, Adult Swim is doing something TF2 related next week.

We're usually pretty good at keeping things truthful and serious, but it's also good to know when people don't like something we do that is maybe less serious. That said, I think you're in a minority here. Most of the people in the #valvearg2 channel enjoy it, and think of it as a little bit of fun during some mystery solving downtime.
