He kinda proves that playing Spy isn't so much on your skill, but on your enemies' lack of it.
That, and a good amount of luck.
I always wonder how he performs as well as he does. It seems that whenever I'm in a very similar situation, something else happens and I die.
e.g. I am trying to jump over somebody for a stairstab and they kill me in midair. Or maybe I am trying to wait for everyone to leave the spawn so I can go from behind, I'll set off and a final one will come out and kill me.
He's either really lucky or I'm just really unlucky.
One time i was following three people and at the back was a pyro, i decloak from afar and right as he was about to go in the doorway, he immedatly turns around ad i die.
For years I've thought that this guy's pretty good. However, nowadays I believe that the pupil posting this has attained an equal skill to that of his teacher. This video doesn't look like anything special, apart from some Spy gameplay on a newbie server.
Is the people he plays against deaf?
Try decloaking right behind any decent player, they'll turn around straight away.
Even with the pack, you can still hear it, especially those people who just came out of the spawn and had nothing to distract them.
He plays with the worst players in existence and picks out the best moments, noticed how he also cuts to a next scene most of the time when it's obvious he's going to die?
He uses the Knife + Revolver + hat witch gives quieter decloak sound.
I can never do successful backstabs. I'm always too far away, I lose my disguise, they turn around, and then I die. It happens every fucking time. Even when I'm touching them I can never ever get a backstab.

I do want to know what servers he plays on, though. Because everyone in his videos are deaf, and I want to find them.
I really hate the new spy set, the only good thing that came out of it was the new pistol, the knife is a piece of shit,
I as a spy normally get around about 25 kills with 1 or 2 deaths while using a dead ringer and the normal knife on a slightly good day..
Using this thing is just a pain in the ass, the only benefit that comes with it is it helps chain stabbing, which is still easy as fuck to do if you're a good spy.
My post didn't go through before:
He plays against retards. Sure he's a pretty good spy (probably better than me) but in his videos he uses footage from playing against morons.
The medics act like they've never encountered a spy (one bumps into him, sees him stab a heavy and sap a sentry and still keeps healing), and heavies/soldiers are just terrible. The engineers are a tad better at dealing with spies (though not that amazing) and the pyros are embarassing.
90% of Montages are like this.
Is the set bonus really worth it at all? It adds more blink, and it "reduces decloak sound" but it doesn't say by how much. Does anyone have a rough estimate--is it significant?
It's really only useful if you're also going Dead Ringer.
I just noticed that this doesn't actually make corpses instantly invisible, in this case it's stupid.

Yeah I know.
And at the very least he is successful at teaching some basic sspy skills.
I always play against OMFGNinja in this payload race server, and he fuckin' sucks.

That`s actually not medics.
The healing beam heals spy who stabbed a patient with The Eternal Award.
I really like his timing though. How he knows when to start follow pyro to be able to catch him and backstab him. I always have doubt and fear he would turn around.

Not much you can do about the turning around thing. If you can get good at it/lucky, you can do that leaping thing he did. Works a lot of the time, but only if the server spawns in waves.
That faggot again? :colbert:

As someone who always hears a spy decloak and has only been stabbed when heavily distracted (heavy trying to tank the entire team, edging a sentry, pinned down as an engie etc), I've actually been caught by YER spies because I just couldn't hear their decloak.
I was expecting EvilDaedalus and was pleasantly suprised. I really can't wait till I get the rest of the set, all I've got at the minute is L'etranger which isn't particularly great in my opinion.
OMFGninja playing with noobs... big deal... you can see few moments just like with quick swing on engineer back.
Too bad he didn't do a revolver Tutorial
Those videos make me wish I didn't suck at being a spy :(
At least now I have a legit reason to make the decloak noise louder.
Huh, haven't heard from OMFGNinja in ages. Good to see he's still making people rage.

I mean the medic KEPT HEALING HIM.
For like 30 seconds until he got stairstabbed, seriously.
Playing against OMFGNinja is like playing the lottery. Sometimes you win...but most of the time you don't.
I just noticed that this doesn't actually make corpses instantly invisible, in this case it's stupid.
uh it basically does
anyone from behind you would notice a jump anyway it's not like a one second delay makes any difference whatsoever.
Wow, the knife is so OP
NERF,NERF,NERF
But really, it's easy to get chain stabs with this.

Indeed, but getting a disguise is hard. And it's hard to fool some people. ex. Changing a disguise after he losts you.
Good to see someone is still using tactics
Ah, OMFGNinja doing special editting skils to make him look like a pro when he actually isn't, good ol' OMFGNinja!
