It's only good for medieval mode anyway.

I actually love using it in normal games as well.
But... Pyro has primary weapon...

you have no soul

Going by that statement I could just equip the Phlogistinator and play like a braindead moron.
About the Black Rose becoming tradable: bunch of liars, mine's still untradable.
About the Black Rose becoming tradable: bunch of liars, mine's still untradable.
Did you try it or just looked at the description?
The Wiki says it's not tradable too.
Did you try it or just looked at the description?
The item itself is tradable, but that's overridden by the fact that it's an achievement item and is rendered untradable.

Yes unfortunately the attribute that gets slapped on it from being an achievement item over-rides the base item untradabilty.

Oh, skipped that part. At least they could have said it directly instead of hiding it, geez.
they can't buff stock melee weapons like they can for other weapons, they share the same stats for a reason
How about buffing Pyro's default health to 175? And then add a -25 max health to every unlockable melee weapon, except the ones that might need some buffs?
Bonesaw could work in a similar fashion, add 1 hp of passive regeneration by default, make all other Medic melee weapons drain 1 hp per second.

It's not hidden, there's a cite link right next to it.

Pyro's max health is already 175...

No. It'd need more thinking. They could give the Pyro a new ability which gets disabled with the usage of any melee unlock.
stock weapons don't need buffs
Pyro's max health is already 175...
Wow, I've played for all that time and always assumed that the Pyro had less health than the Demoman. Anyway, you get the idea. It would be a pretty straightforward buff. I can't imagine giving the Pyro a special ability that a different melee weapon would disable. Airblast kind of made sense with the Flamethrower but I can't imagine Valve pulling that out with an axe.
if they just made all other weapons have appropriate debuffs, some stocks would not be underpowered and thus be viable options.
stocks should not be changed to have buffs, imo.
a suggestion i've had is make the ubersaw less battle-medic-y and give the amputator the ubersaw's swing time, and you've already "buffed" the bonesaw without making changes to it.
sad to say it but despite all of demo's melee weapons, they handled those set of unlocks the best. there is still reason to use the bottle (or other bottle or frying pan). although it's a shame the pirate bottle is just a reskin.
I remember when I thought tf2 had balance issues, then I played Tribes Ascend.
Y'Know, I always wanted the Homewrecker to decrease the build time of engi's buildings, sorta like the jag, except at the default wrench's speed :P

I think the Homewrecker needs a buff to make it a bit more desirable for Pyros to use, rather than desirable for Engineers to have Pyros be using.

Increased damage on spies?
would make it a lot more fun to chase a spy around with a hammer than simply roasting it.

I wouldn't say it needs a new feature. Removing the damage penalty would probably be enough to get people using it.
If you wanted to go full derp and put something not even I really agree with, just having a wacky idea thrown out there? Maybe have an alt-fire where the Pyro hurls the hammer, stunning whoever it hits.
Or steal part of my idea for the Splatula and have it minicrit when the Pyro is in the air. So you have that sort of cartoonish thing where he jumps up and then does a full swing down on someone.

I think spies have enough things that can fuck them over already.

I don't think I like the idea of weapons doing more damage to specific classes.

He's like that now because of all the things that fuck him over.
