I've only ever used it for the steam friends ones, cuz those SUCK.
if I were to use this, I would only unlock ones that I have already done before the update.

I used to farm but then I tried earning them and I had so much more fun in the game.
If people want to use this, let them, no use getting worked up about it because it doesn't affect you in anyway. Not everyone needs to have the same single-minded opinion as you do. I am against the Sam Picker but hey its not my problem and it's not yours problem either.
Everybody farms their acheivments anyway, so I see no moral problem in using this. I just hope that Valve doesn't take away our unlocks like they did with the heavy update.
It was scout that they took it away, at least for me for 1 week
But I will probably use it again
and @ LoLWaT - I don't like the hassle of getting the new items, its stressful to try and get all of the achievements while getting people to cooporate and I did it for medic and I hated it... tahts why I use Sam..

I will probably just unclock milestones and then lock them again anyway
I'll pretty much farm the achievements during normal play, like I always have. Sure it's tedious at first, and you get so jealous of those who farm, but overall you learn the class more.
It's the reason why I have so many damn hours in Scout, a class I hardly played until a year ago.

Get achievments. At least you have something to do if you are bored (that can almost never happen..whatever).
I always tell myself that I'll seriously work for the achievements every time I start a new steam account. (I've been VAC'd my fair share for hacking a few times, rate me dumb.) I always end up using the achievement manager.

No-one has been punished for using SAM, despite what people here are saying. They're thinking (wrongly) of people being punished for abusing the old items.ctx, which was a clientside version of items_game.ctx
I got all the items of the war update in only 10 minutes by opening a server, adding bots and doing the achievements.
It was fun.
I used it to re-lock my achievements so I had something fresh to work towards when I resetted my stats. Chief of Medicine, Kollectivization, that 1m Pyro achievement, all gone, but it was for the best, it was hearing the 'dings' again

Ive done this a lot, where ive gotten easy achievements, then locked them immediately after, causing people to ask me how i got the same achievement twice.

That sounds really easy for valve to add a counter-measure to, just check if the milestones have been unlocked without having enough achievements unlocked.

im already "flagged" by valve for using the old unlocker that got caught before SAM came out...
so i don't care... and how do they know what my actual gamername is?
