Can someone explain the negative connotation behind sharking? I don't condone it but I see why some people do it. Its probably one of the few ways to make a profit without resorting to buying/selling with games or money.

Going "FUCK THOSE GUYS" doesn't intimidate anyone. If anything, it gives people reason to laugh at you for making a spectacle of yourself. You wasted 100 USD on a failed attempt at a cruddy joke (even if you did it right, it didn't even make sense). You announce everywhere that you crop up "FUCK FACEPUNCH I HATE THOSE GUYS AND EVERYONE WHO ASSOCIATES WITH THEM" like you're a spoiled selfish 10-year-old who doesn't understand why he's not liked by anyone outside of his circle of 'friends.' I asked a number of people if they even remembered who you were--not a single one recalled anything aside from you making a complete fool of yourself and everyone else having a good laugh about it.
