He's going to find a way to extinguish and heal himself before he would allow that. Either that or he'll communicate with his team so they can flush you out or chase you away from him. Pyro monopolizes on player mistakes, lack of communication is a player mistake. Pyros monopolize on team's not cooperating, just like the Spy does.

That's mostly attributed to its near-flat skill curve. It's godly when players don't know how to counter it, then it doesn't get much better as the user improves, it gets worse as the enemies improve. For fucking around in a pub server, go nuts, eat your heart out, kill everyone, I don't care. But if you even attempt to use that in a highlander (or if you somehow get a chance to use it in a 6v6), you'll be at a sizable disadvantage against an organized team. That's not to say that it's going to be 100% worthless, the item does have moments where it shines brighter than the other Pyro primaries. It's just that those moments are far less frequent than the overall utility that the compression blast offers. I really think the only decent Grordbort weapon is the cow mangler. Rest of the weapons are just gimmicky and useless.

The only thing I like about the phlog is that its made backburner hate go down. Countless times I'll either kill someone with it, or someone else in the server kills people with it, and I either read/see people saying "at least its not the phlog". Its hilarious.

plog isn't a bad weapon, players who aren't half retarded will know to stay a good distance away from the pyro when he is doing the plog crit taunt. And then safely spam 4 rockets once the pyro's taunt is over. In fact the plog pyro is even easier to kill once he/she as he/she can't airblast and 2/3 rockets will kill him/her. Most people who complain about plog pyro are the ones that stubbornly try to kill the pyro when he/she is doing the taunt(90% damage reduction) and thus get killed 2 seconds later by the crit fire. TL;DR just stay a good distance away from plog pyros when they are taunting and then spam 2-3 rockets/nades at the pyro when he finishes the taunt.

I got a $250 dollar offer on my vintage shogun set. I don't think I can actually go through with it though. I'm too attached to them. Le sigh. What's the point of buying rare items if your not gonna sell them when price peaks? There's really no reason to not sell besides "I don't wanna". I need to get out of trading somehow.

This is why you are now attached to the items, they represent too much for you to sell them for something as common as money.
