fuck this shitty game
Instead of complaining you could just go here and report the problem or check out the fixes.
Do ANY of you play TF2 seriously anymore instead of wasting time in smnc for the hats
Do ANY of you play TF2 seriously anymore instead of wasting time in smnc for the hats
I play TF2 seriously when I actually have the opportunity to play TF2, does that count?
Do ANY of you play TF2 seriously anymore instead of wasting time in smnc for the hats
Me? No, I'm browsing Japanese sites with google translate to find something cool I can ask my aunt to send us in the next package.
Do ANY of you play TF2 seriously anymore instead of wasting time in smnc for the hats
Well, I'm trying to get into competitive TF2, does that count?
Do ANY of you play TF2 seriously anymore instead of wasting time in smnc for the hats
I barely play TF2 and i never play SMNC
Me? No, I'm browsing Japanese sites with google translate to find something cool I can ask my aunt to send us in the next package.
I don't know how this is even relevant to my question but okay.
Goddamnit Valve, I was hoping for everything else but not another scout item. He has already got too many in-game submissions.
Scout is the "instapro" class. It's the easiest class to play, so people latch to it to be MLG PRO xXxSKRILLEXX2012xXx. As such, shit for the Scout sells most.
Do ANY of you play TF2 seriously anymore instead of wasting time in smnc for the hats
I'm starting to get back into the habit of playing custom TF2 gamemodes like Dodgeball and such.
My title says it all.
I'm starting to get back into the habit of playing custom TF2 gamemodes like Dodgeball and such.
I usually do that when I get bored of vanila, doesn't last long till I ditch these though.
I swear we had this same Scout argument a few days ago.
Easiest class to play? I'm pretty sure you're saying stupid things on purpose now.
You move faster than any other class and shoot things. You have the highest mobility and a high level of firepower to go with it. You are moving and shooting. There is nothing more to the class. You have nothing to tend to. No actual job on most maps until the meat and potatoes of the team has cleared the way for you. Some scouts might use the Bonk to draw sentry fire, but that's a very basic tactic. They're the least likely to get backstabbed and the most likely to be able to flank. People who master the class essentially break the fucking game. The point is: A lot of people cling to Scout. People willing to spend the money to "pimp out" the class with the newest shit. Valve would be insane not to capitalize on that.
Offered a N&B Toque for my 2 bills. Yea/Nay? [editline]11th May 2012[/editline]
You move faster than any other class and shoot things. And you're forgetting his low hp, a bad scout gets destroyed by any and everything.
Nothing to do ? A good scout can do nearly every other attacking classes role pretty well. And you're forgetting his low hp, a bad scout gets destroyed by any and everything.
Like... [RadMcCool]Engineers.[/RadMcCool]
Most TF2 classes are somewhat easy to play when you initially pick them up. It's just all about getting around their learning curve, effectiveness, and the hurdle of what they can or can't do. Eventually finding a way of being able to do what you want to do via mastering their abilities, unlocks, and strategies. Some classes just naturally have lower hurdles and learning curves because of what they're area of expertise are. Soldier and Pyro can be played fairly simply, but fiddling with their unlocks for a while and learning their traits can make them really effective pushing and defensive forces. Heavy and Medic are the only two classes you can't really go anywhere with, for different reasons pertaining to their jobs and unlocks. Heavy doesn't have much variation in his gameplay, and his weapons tend to be very samey or are ways of compensating more for his downsides. Can't do much variation with medic because you need to focus on healing, and the best ways of keeping yourself alive to do so longer, along with poppin' dose ubers. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go to school now and put less mental effort into my work than this vaguely opinionated post. Bye.
Nothing to do ? A good scout can do nearly every other attacking classes role pretty well. And you're forgetting his low hp, a bad scout gets destroyed by any and everything.
I have generally mained Pyro and Medic in TF2. The class I have the hardest time working out a counter to is Scout. Because they come up fast and sudden, and I'm dead in 2 hits unless I react quickly. The Medic, caught in the open, is entirely dependent on his heal partner. The only real working counter to Scout is to lure around a corner and bonesaw it before it blasts you to death. That doesn't jive. Pyro has to puff and sting with the flaregun. There has to be a sudden enough drop in the Scout's health where it breaks the engagement and doesn't kill me. My opinions are the result of my experience. I've seen every other class mowed down, except a bunkered engineer. The Sentry Gun is the hard counter to Scout. Any time there was anything else that could compete, Scout players whined and bitched until Valve nerfed it.
Is it just me or is Team Fortress Classic 10 times more fun than TF2 is now? Although noone plays TFC anymore so every server is a botfest
Like... [RadMcCool]Engineers.[/RadMcCool]
What if Rad played SMNC? :v:
Is it just me or is Team Fortress Classic 10 times more fun than TF2 is now? Although noone plays TFC anymore so every server is a botfest
The one time I went into TFC I was violently raped with no idea what was happening. Also, nades. Nades everywhere.
What if Rad played SMNC? :v:
Massive sentry guns on every corner
Massive sentry guns on every corner
Combat Kitties. Close enough.
So Valve added in order the Heavy Training, the Target Practice and today the Front Runner... They're probably gonna relase Meet the Pyro on the 27th July, the first day of 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
