Did a little experiment by putting the Holiday Punch's normal map on the Old Guadalajara:

Just makes you think how some things get in game, whilst other beautifully made items don't. I'm not saying any of the items that get added are bad or weren't an effort to make, but there's no denying how much heart gets put into some models that are just left to rot.

I was thinking more along the lines of Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
Texturing this was a pain in the arse. I really have learned a lot from working with this damn game-engine.

That reminds me. I have a fix for it but there are two versions one uses the alpha method and the other is the usual method but there are problems with both. The alpha one's rim doesn't match the original texture and the latter has jaggy issues. Also if you re-do the Ballcap icon, use the original base color.

Call it 'The Fast Cap'. I also think you should gradiate the tone from top to bottom. In some respects your old texture was more attractive. Take a screenshot into Photoshop and saturated it. You'll see one huge area of tone. You want to make this feel more varied. Light and dark balanced.

It would look much better if you move the wings to the sides of the hat, so there's one on each side, and made them a bit bigger.
