Brainstorming names for the Roman Heavy items
Shoulder Armor -> Giant's Galerus
Shield -> Parmaximus Glutonius
Sandals -> The Sandalium of Time
Weapon -> Arma Superium
Helmet ->Cassius' Casco
Also looking into other weapons besides a club. Heavy isn't the type to use a Short Sword or Javelin, but the romans really didn't use huge metal skull smashing weapons.
Maybe a large trident?

Implying the russians weren't one of dosens of countries that tried to claim america, and in that, killed many native americans.
But I agree, Roman heavy does sound like a silly idea. That's more of a soldier thing. And has been done. More than once.

The Romans invaded Romania, and the term Czar comes from Caesar. Don't think of ancient rome, think of Byzantines and the Holy Roman Empire.

Almost everything ends up the the workshop. Presenting a guide to 'skanky' tf2 items.
Step1. It's ok for this to be silly if its only a mod for fun
Step2. It's ok for this to be in the workshop, for people to see. If valve think its not good enough, they won't add it.
Step3. It's ok that Valve added this, It's only a seasonal item!
Step4. It's ok that they didn't season restrict that item, if people don't like it, then don't buy it!

Byzantines, on the other hand, have greatly influenced Russia, bringing Christianity and stuff. Even russian coat of arms is a modifed Bysantian one.

The Byzantines are just an extension of the Roman into the Medieval era :D
So, Roman items do work for Heavy.
