Here are the concept sketches for the Manmelter and Phlog replacements I talked about earlier. I'm not too happy with the MM one, but the Phlog one could look cool.

I don't think the first vest is exactly shugo-styled. I just positioned it on an invisible mannequin that was positioned in the coordinates of the shugo mannequins.
The first one's completely off, don't rely completely on the coordinates. The second one seems to be lacking paint?

The things you make, apart from those damn shugo icons are released. The shugo icons are not, and therefore, apart from usage on the wiki, are pointless.

That's actually a fairly good point, Shugo icons for custom items used to be so that your custom items would match the rest of your backpack, but now...?
If the icons are included with the actual downloads though (like I do with items I release), then it's alright.

I wanted to release mine with the shugo team's so you could just get all your stuff at once. And because once they release theirs, you will have to replace all the custom icons with the original shugo icons, then install the custom ones again.
Not to mention I wanted to redo a few of them and check all the folders, but I guess the ones I wanted to redo are good enough. I'll still wait to release the custom pack until the normal one is released though.
Also, at what lemonade said. I always wondered if anyone was smart enough to do that, lol.

Yes it takes a few minutes for each icon, and any unmade icons would take another handful of minutes to open the model viewer and use the tutorial to do it yourself. Maybe it's not going to be of the same quality as when an official release comes out, but it beats complaining.

Plus we use uncompressed .TGA, and if you do compile the .PNG, you'll get white "jaggies" on the edges of all the icons.
Hey, little question here, anyone knows how to launch the HLMV from a shortcut or a batch file and have it load a model specified within the shortcut/batch?
This is how I believe it should work:

At first it wouldn't load, I have to extract the gameinfo and the scripts directory from the tf2 GCF into my "/team fortress 2/tf/" install.
After that itdoes launch the mode viewer and picks the model path, but there is not model visible, when trying to load a file it clearly looks like it doesn't load all the settings, the GCF is not loaded, there is only the /tf/ models and when trying to load one it just doesn't show anything in the viewport, maybe it doesn't pick the proprer "game config"?
Anyone knows how to get this working?

I did mention that. My point was, if people really want the icons now, there are options, you can either take advantage of these options or wait patiently.

Is that conical muzzle necessary? The trigger, the wrapped handle, all the funky little details and the overall silhouette make this item awesome, but the muzzle just ruins it for me.

That reload is indeed awesome, but it could be done with a wide cylindrical nozzle as well. I guess you have a point with the extinguisher thing, but.. How about just a slight cylindrical end to the cone, giving it this kind of shape?
