It only works because I didn't use the alpha channel to vary how much the paint affects it - i.e. the paint has to affect the whole texture with 100% strength. So I had seperate vmts for the glowy/painty part and the rest of it... The vmt for the painted part was as follows:

It's a kb ppanc wz.35 Urugwaj by the way. The concept is an exact copy of the original.
Also keep the bipod unfolded. It was an integral part of the original and it's a place for jigglebones. And people like jigglebones.

I can't tell you how many times I've given up on modeling. Hell I'm STILL learning.

Sometimes I pick it back up for a few, but I end up just getting annoyed at textures not working and draw instead
modeling is hard at first but it's not that bad once you know what you're doing
my only problem with it is that i'm far too embarrassed by everything i make being hideous in my opinion to ever show it to anybody :v:
