The only two movies getting brought up are The Faculty and The Punisher and though the catalyst for giving it to the sniper was the game Condemned: Criminal Origins I think we've all always had the idea in the back of our heads that somehow that massive and heavy guillotine is dangerous.
Do anyone of you have a link to a good tutorial explaining how to make a good phong?

I was just about to try making it paintable[/QUOTE] If they're seperate vtfs I can't see where the red colour on the blu texture is coming from - I assume you are definitely changing the colour of the liquid and not the glass?

[/QUOTE] Sadly valve will need to be the one to rig it since we cant replace the purity fist for some reason. (well at least psyke can't. Maybe spark can do that.) I can model and rig it myself, but to make it as a replacement for the purity may not be possible.

I am assuming that the blue is just being overlaid on top of the red, and since this is transparent the red is not completely hidden by the blue.

Found the problem (finally) Apparently in the registry it was setting merge1 to the potions, making it have an extra weapon loaded that I couldn't unload. So in a way, it WAS overlaying the blue on top of the red. To save anyone else the hassle of transparent + team colors not working right: [B]REMEMBER TO CHECK REGEDIT.[/B]

The Lüger/syringe gun hybrid is pretty obvious. The radical resistant is not unlike one of [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Moulin"]Jean Moulin[/URL]'s early hats and the white rose is a reference to the[URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Rose"] eponymous german movement [/URL] [B]Critique is highly needed[/B]. Anyone interested in modeling this, just give me a heads up so I can give you a concept that can actually be exploited.

Also, is it ok if I do a little bit more self-promotion around now? Let me first make it clear that I really like the concepts. The set idea is brilliant, fits the game perfectly and could become amazing in the hands of a competent modeller. I'm holding my thumbs for it! So, yeah, don't interpret this post as 'you suck, hey people look at my stuff instead', and do absolutely not interpret it as a passive-aggressive accusation of plagiarism. Got that? Cool. Well. This set has some aesthetic similarities with [URL="http://i.imm.io/gfg4.png"]one of the IMO neatest[/URL] of my set ideas. If some feels like modeling the resistance set but wants to take some liberties with the designs, feel free to take a look at my sketch for inspiration as well.

Well I thought I would be original with a sten medigun, sounds like I underestimated the modding community. But, mine has a barrel that actually coincides with the barrel of the sten. This suggests stats, which is a thing I learned from taking a closer look at some of the weapons that were integrated in the game previously. The Syringe gun/Lüger hybrid, I had a feel it would have already been done already. But I tried a non-makeshift approach at it. See, Except in the case of the #1 fan I'm really not a fan of "makeshift" weapons. And this is the main difference between my pack and yours. Either way, I think yours has potential, too. Good luck with that.
