I just realized that Engi has more miscs than hats, and of his hats some are garbage due to either being bad altogether [Buckaroos Hat(Also bad grammar for that one. There is just nothing redeemable about that fucking thing.)] or having really bad texturing (Engineer's Cap, Hotrod). I would also really like to see the textures for the Pyromancer's Mask fixed so it isn't blurred unless you're in Pyro's face. There needs to be some project to polish things.

Will probably be paintable when it's finished.
is the chin textured like that or is it weird smoothing?

I'd have to make the whole reload faster, that's impossible to do without editing the items game.txt. I've already removed some frames of the animation (before the sniper actually pressed the opening lever, and it was way faster)

Not in blender ,no, but you have to select the parts that are reflective and assign them to a different .vmt. That .vmt will then have to have an envmap.(or a cubemap, i forgot which one it is)

I am thinking about starting to make models.[/QUOTE] If you can get your hands on Maya, start there. Its the current industry standard (also what valve prefers). Next should be 3ds max. And for absolutely cheap and last resort, blender.
