I think the head is fine actually. Lots of sand shovels are oversized since they're for younger kids.
Well, take another look and tell me what do you think now. I can still leave it as before. Edit: So many good modelers in here at the moment. Don´t be shy! =D
looked better bigger :D
Liked it better before.
Bigger is better
Agree with the 3 posts above me Especially Toten's
Ok, the huge one then. Many thanks, this was a fast and really unanimous opinion

The shadow just shows up in Model Viewer depending on the angle you're looking at it from.
That would be a smoothing error then
What can I do to fix it?
What can I do to fix it?
If you're using blender you have to add the Edgesplit modifier and then mark the sharp edges. I would mark these edges:

I'm sure he's not an idiot, he understands that Source SDK and Blender aren't linked and any changes done in Blender won't affect the model in the SDK.
Did you re-export the smd and then recompile?
Yep. Edit: I just realized that I was compiling a different model I was making instead of the whistle. The problem was fixed after I recompiled the whistle. Except that now the model is 10x less reflective.

Why is it that when I have a mid tone in the alpha for paint it just reads it as pure black? How did the Fast Learner make it work with a subtle paint?
IMO Based colours looks perfect just needs that TF2 style texturing brush strokes and perhaps make the black metal parts just a tiny less black. Looks great for base colours though.
basecolors on eeshton's rifle: Any opinions?

Idea I'm working on. I need thoughts. Horns up! Set for Sniper. Crowleys Charming Cap - An Alice cooper style top hat. The Headbanger - A SVDS Dragunov sniper rifle with a bat head opening its mouth for the scope and a pentagram/skull engraved on the side with the letter's HB on the barrell. and finally the... The Iron Musk - Jarate Reskin. With a fifty percent chance to catch you on fire. "You could strip paint with my urine!"
So no thoughts? :sadpanda:
Midtones in the alpha for paint works fine for me. I did it on the Ebenezer.
can someone make a soundpack based off of the horrible sound glitch that came out and was fixed today?
can someone make a soundpack based off of the horrible sound glitch that came out and was fixed today?
Oh god why
can someone make a soundpack based off of the horrible sound glitch that came out and was fixed today?
Speaking of that, what really happened? I wasn't at my computer to hear all the ruckus and the commotion.
