Won't that cause him to hit the ball with the side of the racket?
Don't know, but it feels like it would be the other way around.

Flawless logic, might you be a supporter of intelligent design?
I have way to much fun with this.

Did some changing.

Decided to redo the handle whilst I added more stuff, it looked weird. Worried it's going to look too much like the vita saw though.

I think the best thinking you can work on is making it less symmetrical, less perfectly curricular. Making it look more hand made. Maybe adding an 'end' to the tape. Splintering wood. cracks maybe? More detail on the handels tape so it looks like layered tape material instead of one solid piece. It's looking really nice so far.
Why would you make a tennis racquet yourself?

For the craft number, duh

How do you think they made tennis rackets in the 1950's? Injection moulding?
I'm afraid I'm 100% daft on paintability, so I'm just gonna make it have some small little spec of paintaiblity some place on it that way the scrap-pack doesn't make the entire thing painted. Also, it's not 100% finished.
You can use the alpha for paint and use a separate vtf for the selfillum, think it's worth it in this case

still, professionals made them, you kinda made it sound like you wanted to have it look like scout would have haphazardly put it together himself
I like the idea of having the tape look more uneven and it looking more used though
thiking about it the only part that actually needs to be whole is the only currently broken part, if the net is broken he wouldn't be able to get it to fly very far, i'd probably have it broken somewhere more off center

Hoverboard as a backpack item, mike mags for feet, and team clored future vest as a 2015 scout set?
(If this looks familiar, blame constuctor)

Oh, no. They were made by hand by profesionals. And if it's been as well used as the torn mesh indicates, the features I mentioned would be probable. I'm just trying to help anyway, jeeze.

I feel like I've seen this done. If not, it's defiantly something that NEEDS to be made!

I think the mercs can afford a little better than that.
Shit, some of those make you think though. One looks like a pipe with a board eraser taped to it.

Well that quickly brightened up my morning :v:. Awesome work in general.
Nice, still a bit of room to manoeuvre then. With a decent texture artist on board *cough* Tony the Welsh Wizard *cough* I think you're onto a winner there.

I actually quite like how this has gone. I suppose I need to trip a SHIT TONNE of polys off it though
