The first texture, in fact, included an ao bake, a faint one though. I did have a little problem, which I photoshopped away from the texture, and I still have it.
I think there's a problem in the uv mapping.

I'd put those on the other side of the case, if they're facing into the heavy you're not going to see them as much.
