Oh shiet, gunslinger's rifle. Might something a bit like it, not sure.

Ah screw it, I'll make gunslinger's rifle.
Make Gang Garrison's Rifleman's Rifle :v:
Got some detail done on the back part, almost done I'd say

The answer to life, the universe and everything is a rocket to the face..?
Got any bigger pictures of that?
This is the biggest picture of concept art of Gunslinger's Sniper Rifle that I can get

I think 22's fine, there are only so many numbers you can use before things get silly.
The answer to life, the universe and everything is a rocket to the face..?
The soldiers answer, probably.

You know. I'm a fan of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Yes, I even read the books).
But I'm really getting sick of all the 42!42!42!...

Name it the "Catch This! 22" (or something along the lines of Catch 22) in reference to the very popular war-based novel Catch-22.

The number 22 fits Soldier very, very well, actually. That was a great and subtle change. The reference is actually fitting for soldier, given the setting and the themes of Catch-22. Given Soldier's insanity, it instantly reminded me of this quote in the book:

There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's own safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane, he had to fly them. If he flew them, he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to, he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle.
"That's some catch, that Catch-22," he observed.
"It's the best there is," Doc Daneeka agreed.
The archetypal catch-22, as formulated by Heller, involves the case of John Yossarian, a U.S. Army Air Forces bombardier, who wishes to be grounded from combat flight. This will only happen if he is evaluated by the squadron's flight surgeon and found "unfit to fly." "Unfit" would be any pilot who is willing to fly such dangerous missions, as one would have to be mad to volunteer for possible death. However, to be evaluated, he must request the evaluation, an act that is considered sufficient proof for being declared sane. These conditions make it impossible to be declared "unfit."
That's fine, I actually felt the naming convention was too forced as a reference to Catch-22. I actually didn't know that you had already done that change on purpose. I think I sort of guessed that the 4 was replaced with just a copy/pasted 2 to make it an easy number change. It's also one of my favorite novels, too.
the melee seems a little unnecessary, maybe you should make the axe head look a bit more damaged/blunt, then make the new spikey bit look a bit more makeshift? as it is I can't work out why such a thing would be manufactured

Rushed base texture with jarate lenses. I'll make the proper textures tomorrow.
Looking good!
I just wish there was an animation on the bolt action during the reload.
Still, can't wait until this is released. [sub][sub]it will be released as a mod, right?[/sub][/sub]
I wanted to make a bolt animation too, but for that I'd have to make a v_ model which is too much work for me for now. And yes, releasing it as a mod is the current plan.
Neo, mind telling me why you disagreed with my previous post? Do you not like the jigglezzz?

Great job so far, though!
