I really wanna get this thing done; I know the shape of the 'highlight' in his hair is messy, but I was just testing to see if it was a good shader technique for the hair overall (i.e. the phong is pretty much masked by the scribbly highlight thing)

I had a visual flaw with my unclean flame that I wanted to fix. I added a sort of wear to the white edges to appear as though cardboard (kind of flesh toned) was showing, which was bad and an accident in layer merging.

Well it didn't go exactly as planned, but it still ended up pretty cool. I made a new shotgun for the Engineer, using the Pomson animations.
(Also yes, I know the sight thing on the barrel is messed up, forgot to put it in the unwrap, it's already fixed)

The plan was to make it look like the Engineer was sliding shells into the side of the shotgun, and it's pretty much the closest I can get it without being bigger than the Pomson (and therefore, get hellish amounts of clipping). And besides, if Valve has a collective spasm and decides to use this, maybe they can add a shotgun shell bone to it, and it'll totally work.
I dunno, opinions? Anyone want to texture it, perhaps?

So I re-created my mini robot from earlier with firm supervision on the polycount (only 296 polys so far). I was trying to use the symmetry modifier to make my work easier, but it didn't work as it normally did. Does anybody here who is proficient at modelling understand what is going on?

I hope I've misunderstood a joke and you're not actually planning on using that arrow as part of the hat, because arrows really isn't something that had anything to do with Engineer or any of his weapons. A bullet whole would still be alright.
