Those items shouldn't be in-game either.
Then why is your name FISH KILL! if you don't think the holy mackerel should be in game?
Those items shouldn't be in-game either.
Your name tell me otherwise.
Then why is your name FISH KILL! if you don't think the holy mackerel should be in game?
Couldn't think of a better username with a TF2 reference. I also thought the player humiliating game mechanic on the mackerel was somewhat amusing.
wat
Just ignore what that idiot says, pretty sure most of his workshop stuff is shit
Bear in mind this is also the genius that started a shitstorm about the ejection ports on shotguns being on the wrong side.
Bear in mind this is also the genius that started a shitstorm about the ejection ports on shotguns being on the wrong side.
Don't remind me about that.
Bear in mind this is also the genius that started a shitstorm about the ejection ports on shotguns being on the wrong side.
Yes, that's going to defuse this situation wonderfully, well done, chap.
TF2 has a comedic sense of style, it said so RIGHT IN THE COMMENTARY about the Spy's Paper mask. I really hate it when people forget things like that.
The humor used to be significantly more subtle and classy than it is these days though. I don't think original TF2 was "wacky and silly", it had a comedic overtone, but it wasn't like the kids show on lsd it is today.

The running gag that started with the Respectless Rubber Glove concerning Pyro's sillyness/retardation/etc has gone several steps too far. Every time I see someone make anything even remotely 'silly' for Pyro I die a little inside.

My tri-budget alarm just went off. Either way, the stylization is perfect Spark. *EDIT* Actually, the wrapper looks weird. Like, it's got extra folds that shouldn't be there. It should look like this, I think:
TF2 updated and apparently the Rocket Jumper has a new model and texture. PICS NOW

I see that the wrapper has blasted apart like a cartoon gun barrel. Interesting.

See above, I changed my mind on the wrapper.

-snip- Wrong thread, I'm a dummy.
uh no it started with the beanie, the first pyro hat.
The problem with that is that the beanie is an actual hat, unlike the bullshit that gets made for the pyro now. It gets to the point where I want to kick a basket of kittens into a raging river whenever I see some "lol randumb XD" hat being made, like the plunger, glove, or any other non-hat items.

Congrats to all the TF2 contributors who got items in Dota 2. http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse?appid=570&browsesort=trend&p=1 Loads of familiar names on the Dota workshop.
Does anyone know if weapons can prevent misc items from being equipped? (I know about the equip regions, but I'm not sure if weapons can have equip regions too) I had a big set idea for the Medic involving a bonesaw/glove-hybrid melee weapon and the new glove misc makes me wonder if my concept is still worth making.
Booties and the Teufort Kickers, Mantreads and the Teufort Kickers, etc.
Aren't those technically classified as wearables in the code?
most weapons that change a class have equip regions. Even Soldier and Sniper's backpacks and Engineer's gunslinger have regions that don't do anything right now. A saw/claw thing could have Medic Gloves as an equip region and be incompatible with the new glove.
Aren't those technically classified as wearables in the code?
I'm not really sure, ned could probably answer that better than I can, I just know that they can conflict with weapons, and vice-versa. And I guess you'll be submitting a Last Breath Fix Fix? :v:

And I guess you'll be submitting a Last Breath Fix Fix? :v:
It doesn't matter what slot they're in, it's all based on Equip Regions. The Quick-Fix, for example, is not a wearable, but conflicts with the robot backpack, because both share the "medic_backpack" region. Regions can be placed on anything. The item code doesn't distinguish between wearables or not for regions, you could, in theory, make the Shotgun conflict with the Ten Gallon using only equip regions and it would work flawlessly.

That's exactly what I was thinking. [editline]1st June 2012[/editline]
Pretty much this. The running gag that started with the Respectless Rubber Glove concerning Pyro's sillyness/retardation/etc has gone several steps too far. Every time I see someone make anything even remotely 'silly' for Pyro I die a little inside.
Though it's basically a "pyro is dumb/retarded"-item, I think it's acceptable. It's pretty clever how it explains why engie only wears a single glove and it isn't really as outrageous as most later stuff pyro's gotten. Like say, a birdcage or a boot on his head. Also, pyro looks like Feathers McGraw (disguised as a chicken) from Wallace & Gromit when he's wearing it. Could that subtly hint that pyro's actually a criminal mastermind?!
Do you guys think this gun's silhouette is different enough from the FaN and Soda Popper?
