Think about what you're saying. Can you even imagine how stupid that would look? Why on earth would anyone do that? Stuff like the huge bucket/pan/etc just happening to cover his eyes is fine, but intentionally pulling a tight-ass swimming cap over them, just no.

I disagree with that, I don't find it out of character or implausible for someone of Soldier's level of insanity and delusion to wear it in an illogical way. I reckon that Soldier would put it on with his own bare hands without reading any damn instruction manual for pansies that don't know how to do a man's work, and anyone who'd unpatriotically imply that he's not wearing it the way any American should would get their commie ass whooped red white and blue.

So Good News Psychopath liked some of my ideas, and he told me that he plans to base a lot of the new weapons on popular workshop submissions. So i thought i would do a few mock-ups:

Couldn't you at least try it out as a style for the hat? soldier doesn't really wear hats wrong on purpose. Most cover his eyes because they're too big.

Most of his other hats that he doesn't wear like that, are community made. There's nothing funny, in character or stereotypical about Soldier showing his eyes or wearing goggles.

those are edited from base sprites used in the game, and the spy is abnormally tall in gg2.

Also even on your preferred version, the cap could probably do with being stretched a little lower down so there's less skin visible between the goggles and the cap.

However since I promised I'd end the discussion if you complied, I'll agree to move on.

Of course it doesn't look fine, swimming caps are ridiculously tight to the skin, look how much floating it's currently having to do in order to not clip with everything... unfortunately the way it's currently working is pretty much the only way it can work without clipping or looking bizarre. Though I can pull it down slightly more, but it doesn't really look any better/worse, just a bit a different.

Very good, you got them all. The Bird's eye bomber does not have a set that i am aware of, i just threw on a few sexy robot items because i thought they looked good together.
