I hope you dont come to my house and ask my mom to make me stop. I bet you are a full head taller than me too. I should stop now then.
Not funny :colbert: [editline]16th April 2012[/editline]
Gotta redo it, gonna try to make the knot better, and the brim has some extra faces that didn't get selected when I edited it's shape. x3
That hat is fucking gigantic.
Next time I submit a ton of content, I should probably try for page king or something... I never realized just how fast things can get swept away in this thread.
You guys think the sword is too long?
Were you watching Kenshin on Toonami Aftermath with us the other day where the kid bomb-jumped up and cracked his sword over the guy?
I love how the set looks, but i just can't see it on demo. Then again, i've been wrong before.
I'm sort of a gender-apathetic little weirdo who doesn't care much about pronouns, so no apology needed. Also, if you want those doves recompiled with a few different poses so they don't look so static, just let me know. I should really knuckle down and teach myself to animate so they can look around or flap their wings once in a while, too.
Heh thanks. The poses thing isn't a huge deal. With the old large doves I used to use (in the same pose pretty much), I rotated them around to match the video stills, but kept their feet on whatever they were supposed to be stood on. The outcome has always been surprisingly realistic. When I replaced them with your doves, I just copied the poses then removed the old. Here's some shots to show you what I mean (with your doves!): [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594716355929217980/94E7E0C6F40C531C9B2F9B95C8621CBE15ADB7B1/[/t] [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594716355929215592/C4A87A0513F17F0A67EEA4D0CBB5D18AA94EDBF5/[/t] See how in the first image, somehow the birds on the left look more hunched over? Even though it was merely a rotation. Anywho, it's up to you! But having them occasionally having a look round once in a while could be fun! Though it's fine if not as they don't move too much in the video since they spend their time watching the Medic do his thing. I might consider moving Archimedes downward slightly angle wise, to split him apart from the two beside him. Also, more shots because why not: [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594716355929222489/64E42E552F506DE4C00CA15885DCB9CABB9A7484/[/t] [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594716355929220102/E2EBE14AD2CC194D0FF44AB3959F774EED1E5C75/[/t] [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594716355929212884/E7AC3B2341E5452120B1AA744F535C8C5FB932A0/[/t]
could somebody make this mod work again?: because the mediafire link is down.
I would have put the "I have no idea!" as the fully charged sound.
I'm pretty ok with the set looks, but I don't want to see more random stuff from random countries/time periods in TF2. Then again, this post is going to get buried in boxes.
Finished!

are the team colored bits paintable?
I'm pretty ok with the set looks, but I don't want to see more random stuff from random countries/time periods in TF2. Then again, this post is going to get buried in boxes.
So you'd be opposed to a Cro-Maggot Man caveman set for the Soldier?
So you'd be opposed to a Cro-Maggot Man caveman set for the Soldier?
I think TF2 would have been better off with more variations on the setting-appropriate types of items instead of pirates, nanotechnology, steampunk and novelty viking helmets, yeah.
sadly its all too late for that. We may be the cause of all the cultural mish-mash but thats how we roll now. And yeah again it think the idea has potential so why not make it.
sadly its all too late for that. We may be the cause of all the cultural mish-mash but thats how we roll now. And yeah again it think the idea has potential so why not make it.
It's funny; first, we made items that made TF2 unfitting and silly - now we make items to keep the artstyle we destroyed.
Urgh I'll remodel the whole thing, I should have followed his head better.
You already have a decent model so doing a complete re-model would be a total waste of time. All you have to do is move some verts closer to his head.
i still like to think that we still have a solid art style in tf2. it may not be the same as before, but its still consistent.
I'd like to think TF2's artstyle has remained the same, while it's theme is what has deviated since its inception.
was asked to post this here [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/558687403836252263/575BBAF399F3763FA6D6AC8DF58BC2D1C6A15157/[/t] http://www.mediafire.com/?xa14ftc12radeyl
i think the variety in tf2's items and weapons now make it one of the most enjoyable and distinct fps games out there.
I think TF2 is so full of crap I can't play it for more than an hour. I used to play 12 hours a day.
I think TF2 is so full of crap I can't play it for more than an hour. I used to play 12 hours a day.
So in effect, you're saying TF2 has evolved enough to make you play like a normal person and go outside once in a while?
So in effect, you're saying TF2 has evolved enough to make you play like a normal person and go outside once in a while?
Either that or he's running on a toaster.
So in effect, you're saying TF2 has evolved enough to make you play like a normal person and go outside once in a while?
No, I still don't go outside. There's SUNSHINE out there!
I think TF2 is so full of crap I can't play it for more than an hour. I used to play 12 hours a day.
you made pink snowboots, and submitted them, for Sniper :x
No, I still don't go outside. There's SUNSHINE out there!
You should put on a hat, then.
I'd like to think TF2's artstyle has remained the same, while it's theme is what has deviated since its inception.
This. People just throw the artstyle's broken thing around like some buzzphrase, it's just old and stupid now. Older than localization jokes.
I've been organizing a small tf2 classic event myself I'll have more details later.
So in effect, you're saying TF2 has evolved enough to make you play like a normal person and go outside once in a while?
That's actually true for me, except I haven't played it since last year.
No, I still don't go outside. There's SUNSHINE out there!
just looking out the window makes my eyes want to disintegrate
