Two serious ideas:
A point-and-click sniper game with an original style. I know that there are tons of sniper games, but they all either have stiff stickman art or a completely realistic style that makes you feel like an aspiring serial killer.
A [URL="http://www.rocksolidarcade.com/games/robokill/"]Robokill[/URL]-style shooter with slower rates of fire, less health for both player and enemies, and enemy AIs that are drawn to the player's last known position rather than the current one, making the game more focused on outmaneuvering and ambushing. This may be way too much work to code though, I don't know.

Imo, cubemaps just don't fit TF2. I dunno why, maybe it's too realistic for me.

The only item in my opinion that actually deserves the cubemap is the Ornaments, since that's big shiny baubles that should be reflecting everything around it. It's a classic Christmas icon.
Everything else it's not really necessary.

also the wiki uses the absolute perfect lighting conditions for maximum reflectivity. It won't look that reflective in-game in 90% of the map

Btw, it should be noted that this time the textures were made by SgtR007 and not by me like in the Pipe Dream. I'm really thankful he decided to model this concept, it's allways a pleasure.

*EDIT* As for stats, the beauty of the weapon is that it could do anything with a nice particle effect and some creative coding. Decrease target's damage resistance and prevent healing. Increase target friendly's damage resistance. Transfer ammo from dispenser to target. Mark teleporter exit location. Laze target for a orbital rocket bombardment. You can do anything with it, since at its essence it's just a targeting system.
Stats for Vector Deflector: Passively increases range of Dispenser and Sentry. Just an idea

It actually makes sense cuz you have to have it deployed to take advantage of the extra range. However, it's basically the wrangler now but also for the dispenser.
