I don't mind him, he's the only person her I talk to outside of FP I think.
Yeah. That's the main issue for me. Had an idea a while back for a sort of diner frycook set with a hat and apron that could also go with the Conny Cap, with themed weapons. The Frenchiefryer and the Splatula.
Itd also fit good if pyro could use the fryign pan.lol [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] Is there a part of the forums here for more idea men who might not know how to make models?
I started modeling because of Svdl and the hermes hightops.
I started modeling because of Sexy Robot and Sparkwire [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img] edit:

Beautiful avatar you got there constructor.

Other than that, it looks great!
Terrible pun: Deathibrillator :v:
This might be a little off-topic, but has anyone else besides me ever feared that, since TF2 is already bloated with so much content from the community and such, they'll put the acceptance of community items to a halt (not anytime soon but y'know)? It just seems like they can add so much until the game just becomes too large to handle, in a sense; I don't mean this all to come across as pessimistic, btw I just have this hunch that months, or years, from now I won't have anything in-game and they'll just be like OK WE'RE DONE ACCEPTING THANKS :)
I'm sure that many of our TF2 contributors will be busy in the next few weeks alone, so no. It may take a couple of years to saturate TF2 with assets to the point of halting it. Our hardware technology is catching up as well compared to what TF2 actually needs to run. It was only a few years back that a 2GB game was unheard of. And by then, i think Valve would have started with TF3. TF2 wont last forever. But the formula that valve has for marketing and extending its shelf-life has proven to be successful that its hard to see an end, at least for now.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7Cw9K.jpg[/t] Baby gun.
I like it. Easily identifyable compared to other miniguns. I would suggest making the ammo pouch thing on the side (I presume it's an ammo pouch thing) a little longer to fill the gap more, as it does look a little odd, especially in the top right picture with how hoovy holds his miniguns.
Longer in which direction?
Longer in which direction?
Downwards. It doesn't have a big drum magazine, so the empty space looks a little strange. Don't make it too big though.

If you take the size TF2 takes up on your disc now, compared to when it launched, the figures are really quite different. Although, I feel even this won't stop Valve. Tf2 is more of a testing ground for valve now. They try things out with TF2, taking the risk that what they do won't work, and learn from it. Then take these lessons and apply them their future titles. As somebody that has a deep affection to TF2, as it has been an environment were personal skills were forged, This testing ground approach upsets me. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't use this approach. I honestly believe over the next year, most of the prolific creators of TF2 will move on to new ground. I know I will. Valve never close off any avenue of opportunity, I doubt they will ever stop adding to TF2. I mean, we do all a lot of the work for them.

Why would a testing ground approach upset you? I really don't mind it if it creates great games in the future.

I think i will try texturing it myself and then handing it over to some experienced guy who wants to texture it in case i cannot.
Why would a testing ground approach upset you? I really don't mind it if it creates great games in the future.
I think he mentioned that to express how deep his affection is for the game.
Good stuff to be found here.
I pretty much only play TF2 when new maps are made official at this point. I'm still a little jaded about paying for the game [editline]19th April 2012[/editline] Not because it's free now but because of how much they changed the end product
Good stuff to be found here.
Nope. Just crap here. We never make good mods. Ever. [sp]I only speak for myself here[/sp] [sp]forever alone in emporium chat[/sp]
