Someone I know (No way in shit am I telling you guys who) has, so far, spent over $300 on keys. By now, probably around $400. He didn't find his first unusual 'till he spent about $230, so assuming OP has similar luck, OP's got the right idea. If your idea is spending cash on pixels that is, but as they say, to each their own. It's OP's money. Let him spend it how he sees fit. You don't have to agree but you don't have to be a douche about it either.

A friend of mine offered me the same deal when I found my first unusual hat, he was pretty desperate for it . I just couldn't accept trading pixels for money, so I just traded my unusual hat for his bad unusual hat, oh well.

Do you really want to do this? Its only a few pixels in a game.

Entire inventory, if it had lots of hats, makes much more sense to me than 1 unusual. The unusuals just don't look good at all so far. If like, the Heavy had a cuckoo clock top hat with a bird that pops out every time he gets a kill as his "unusual" hat, then I'd really want that hat. But these same-old hats with lame effects like, a heart flying around? Fire? Beams? That just isn't something I'll ever bother trading for.
