I might be going off on a tangent here but you'll probably be able to see the screen of that detector in the viewmodel which means that you'll need to animate it. Is the needle ready for that? Looks kind of like it's stuck there. Also the muzzle seems huge compared to the firing mechanism's tube, kinda like if there's a built-in silencer for the whole thing. Maybe thicken the tube that leads into it?
He's not drunk, he's stoned. That's not my kind of thing to do, but I've seen people type while stoned though, and it's exactly like that.
