I don't know I just assumed there was a greater gameplay purpose behind it since it makes most things that aren't dark metal look like crap :v:
Yeah the lightwarp is much more contrasting and helps draw attention to the players weapon. But if your item looks bad then that's no good.

Would anyone be so kind to upload the player model references that have been decompiled from GCFScape? I used to have them but I reformatted and MDL-decompiler will not cooperate with me and it's been too long since I've really made anything :(

But you could just import the bones into the model
"unknownmodelname.smd" is the equiavelent of "blank" for bodygroups

"unknownmodelname" is a blank file made by mdldecompiler for bodygroups that remove a part of the model (ie scout feets).
