Took on some suggestions and edited the texture.
Will do a RED and BLU logo one and accept any criticism on these two.
Then release and off to the next thing to texture.

Yes.
How the texture works is that the logo on the side is the decal.
So I can easily swap out textures that are on the side.

No, the ones I did are on 216x216.
If valve ever decides to enable the decals on the item it gets replaced anyway.

I'm an unsophisticated plebeian. I just googled something like 'beat poetry famous quote' and took the first appropriate thing I found. But yeah, it's from the poem.
Also, thanks. Tal wants to model the scattergun from that set. However, as he said that thinking it was a flare gun I'm going to make a clearer and slightly redesigned concept pic for him of it in flare form, which I guess means that all three items in the Scout set are still unclaimed.

Perhaps take one of the covers to the Saxton Hale comics and use it as an alternate style (like the JimiJam/Red Bread), just to give it that "vintage tin lunchbox" look.
I am done with this unless anyone has any suggestions. Expect a mod and workshop soon.

[b]That seam is most likely due to the mipmap sharpen filter and the fct that the contrast outside the uv'd space of the face and the face texture is too strong. You can fix it by letting the face texture "bleed" outside of the uv'd space more[/b][/QUOTE]

It probably has to do with gimp, unless you got photoshop you're probably stuck with the PNG's
