I think the melee is fine.
with team colors, the green seems out of place with the otherwise team colored set.

It shares the same dark green color and is similar in size to the backscratcher. From a distance and from first glance it would be easy to mistake it for the backscratcher.

if i wanted to run windows, i would have to buy bootcamp, get the windows softare disc frpm someone, install it, learn how to make kill icons and backpack icons, and that is too much trouble for what its worth :/

To be honest I was a bit sad when I realized that the lantern wasn't the melee. Still, I like the items either way :v:
It would probably end up with stats too similar to the volcano fragment anyway.

The latern's texture doesn't seem to be as well made as the others though.
You still have room on that set for one more misc. Pyro's default grenades seem to clash with the set a lot, maybe there's a replacement you could make for those?

I'm not thrilled about the melee, but I don't dislike it. Although I don't agree that it's shoehorned in, I just don't think it's anything really exciting.
As long as you don't make it green, I have no objections against it though.

Regardless, Bootcamp is not the only way to get Windows running on a Mac.

I guess this guy is our go-to guy for weapon demonstrations? He offered to do all of mine, and did them too. He does a good job.
Saves me the hassle of finding a working program to record it, then picking the map and all the scenes and testing everything. Awesome man.

That melee doesn't say "I'm a Fire Fighter".
It just tells me "I couldn't think of anything, so have this pump".
I'm sorry, but that melee is just as bad as an idea as that fire hydrant on a stick someone made here. It would be best if you went with another axe.
I like it better than an axe because it fits the vintage firefighter aesthetic
