Would it be ok for me to upload unusual effects to the workshop? I've got all these ideas backed up and I need to do something with them...

In my opinion this looks too much like the regular Flare Gun colored green with an anti-air gun sight slapped on it. The flare is neat, though.

Took a bit of figuring out and the promo's rather shitty, but I figured I'd share this! I've always disliked the Wrap Assassin's appearance year round so I did some messing around and ended up with this. Comes with custom sounds!

I wish there was a flare gun that was smaller and more pistol-like, like most real ones are.

Maybe not team colored, but after seeing the airborne armaments set I'd like anything BUT green weapons.
What do you guys think, is this an acceptable amount of clipping?

For those who don't know the Righteous bison clips heavily with the soldiers hands but the sheer size hides it. Also, this is not intended for the workshop as it is a fan mod and the design is kind of exact so if I added a huge hole in it to avoid clipping it would just look bad.

Why? I think they look quite good in green. Plus even if you don't like them that doesn't mean other items can't look good with it

Hi, quick question that can have a complicated answer. It's about the alpha channel of the textures and the .vmt commands. Are there any tips that you would share to make them (alpha mask?) and vmt settings. No matter what I try, I fail to get a good setting and the model in game looks like plastic.

Best solution is to simply copy and paste the vmt of the shotgun and tinker with it.
Also the texture on the metal is too detailed and light atm.

In what way to detailed you mean? too many brush srokes?

Nobody could agree on anything
We were left with the choice between the Pelt Belt and Siberian Scarf, so we flipped a coin between those two and just went with mr Snuggles instead

Export and re-compile it as 7.4? That's how I usually deal with wanting a newer texture on an older engine.
