Thing is, that would require decompiling the Lugermorph, I don't think Valve have ever accepted an item fix based on a decompiled item. Only fixes you have the original source for (ie your own items)

It's not exactly hard to separate the hats manually with your 3D program of choice though?

I don't know how to model or add bones to models. All I can do is paint fixes and even Valve hates me for that.

I have a custom model for that. I originally did it for cinematic purposes, but then SFM came out.

I've always taken that as part of the magic of it. It doesn't really have a spot on the model for a new magazine, and it was never reloaded (I assume) in Sam and Max because that's not the cartoony way. I mean, a new animation that handwaves the lack of a clip would be a much cooler addition but [I]that[/I] is a laziness thing on Valve's part, not necessarily the lack of a mag.

Kind of? I have a lot of ideas, and I was super-hyped to do it when I first started the Polar Star 2.0. But now I'm kind of apathetic about the idea. Still got some good ones I might do later. Like the Fireball, since the Manmelter is out, and I don't have to worry about adding hinges and shit to a laser gun.

Well, the quality of the average comment. If they looked at weapon ideas on forums like facepunch and SPUF, 95% of what they would find would be crud, but a lot of that could be dismissed pretty easily by the look of the text alone (someone who's taken the time to do proper formatting, coloring and stuff has generally put a little more thoughts into the ideas before posting them than someone who's written a solid chunk of lowercase text), and the remaining 5% would have pages of ready-made feedback and criticism attached to them.
Stat suggestions on the workshop are pretty much identical no matter their quality, there's practically no feedback or discussion about them, and.. Of the ones I've seen, pretty much all of them have been blatantly broken.

The explosion is still a heavy wip. Overall though, I think I will go with the color and intensity of what I have for the burningplayer effect for pyroland colors. Sort of a subdued rainbow kind of thing instead of being all obnoxious and in your face.

And now I think it would work well as an all-class misc item, as long as the model and textures are altered for each class to make it merge well with their uniforms, though the screen textures could be reused for every class.
