Added the jingle belt model replacement. Sounds coming soon (maybe?)
Needs more
Needs more
It is strange that your avatar fits somehow.
I don't know why but my friend wanted this. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/htQT3.png[/img_thumb] And before I start doing more stuff should I keep the wire in the middle? (don't worry, I have permission to make a super festive holiday punch from the maker of the holiday punch)
I think you would be better off without that wire between them.
So I was thinking, we have 2, maybe 3 items in TF2 that reference TFC. This is kind of terrible. Many, many, many, many people would ADORE TFC cosmetics. But then I thought... well maybe it's an ip thing? Well no it can't be because Dota2 has Sven's original sword in Dota and we already have 2 TFC items, one a direct reference... So here's an idea I concepted. Pyro's hood thing from TFC, the original models. Instead of having flesh exposed, this extra layer of protection sits snugly over his gasmask. It's also derivitive enough. It sits on Pyro's gasmask, and its color is sampled from Pyro's body suit, not the original color of the hood (but it could be paintable to get around that) But really, I don't see a reason they wouldn't accept a derivative TFC hat :/
I'll make it.
that looks like moltar from space ghost...
No one is picking it up to texture, so I am just gonna upload it as it is now. Might redo the mod release so that it's this newer model.
i honestly HOPE this gets into the game. whats your name for it?

Found the comfortable middle in between thick bands and thin seams.

Started on another Engineer misc: Just basecolours at the moment. Based partly on the joke of pyro's being guard dogs for engie nests, and that I think engie is the most likely class to own a dog. Should the tag be engraved with something like K-9?

Well, regarding adding an engraving... how about "Spark"? [sp]Plausible dog name and loosely fire related.[/sp] Also, maybe you could add some spikes to the collar, like how angry dogs in cartoons are usually portrayed with. I drew a picture of a collar for TF2 once when I was imagining new sentries (ignore the chain) [t]http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs51/f/2009/264/0/4/Engineer_Guard_Dog_Unlockable_by_FurrybashingFurfag.png[/t]

Personally I can't stand collars with spikes on them, and there's no spare UV space right now, so i'm going to have to move some stuff about to fit them on, so i'll try out the spikes later.
Definitely do consider it, look up "angry cartoon dog" on google and a large number of them have red spiked collars... so in terms of jokes and stereotypes, it would definitely help people make the connection between old cartoons easier and also makes it easier to humorously imagine Pyro as Engineer's idea of a vicious bulldog to keep away trespassers :v:
Possibly spiked and non-spiked styles then?
-snip- got confused A non-spiked collar might be alright, but I think a spiked collar will bring the joke home much better due to the stereotypes about guard dogs.
I love it already I do worry slightly though if it conflicts too much with other items.
It'd clip just as much as this, maybe a little less. [t]http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/a/ae/RED_HazMat_Headcase.png[/t]
It'd clip just as much as this, maybe a little less. [t]http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/a/ae/RED_HazMat_Headcase.png[/t]
I considered if it was a glasses misc slot item though. I mean... it doesn't take up much of the hat part, and it definitely does not look very compatible with many glasses items... however it looks like most head changing misc items could still fit under it.
You tend to make many things that are a bit too overly cute looking.
I don't think i've made anything cute looking to be honest.
I don't think i've made anything cute looking to be honest.
Oh, sorry. I got you mixed up with that other guy who makes the dragon items... I'm terrible with names :S
