about the nazi argument, i agree with the cross and falcon not being nazi symbols due to historic fact that it predates the nazi regime. I'm more concern on the balance of detail rather than what they represent. Also as a general rule, we try not to be too accurate with our models, especially of the placements and details of military features.

Interestingly enough it's now in such a shape that the default headphones can fit over it with minimal clipping, might be something to explore as a style option.
I'm in a real problem at the moment though, I'm trying to pelt map it in such a way that I can easily draw the seams I had on earlier in a better fashion without trying to guess where the lines both meet and end. Any tips or suggestions on that?

Very cool, but personally I would give the fleur-de-lis to the Spy instead to the Scout. Lily being a symbol associated with France and all.

I really like this one and I really liked the previous one, but they look like two completely different hats so I can't really tell which version I prefer. This one is in a way slightly cooler, but it's basically the Tam O' Shanter for Scout. The other one is marginally less cool, but it's a proper old-timey baseball cap, which the Scout sorely needs.
Could you change the color scheme on this one and release them as separate hats, maybe? Would that conflict with the Modeler Society's Creed of Honor?

That might be a good idea actually. Though, the reason the second hat came about was because the other one sat quite unnaturally on his head. In an effort to keep the hat from clipping with the scout's head shape I had to billow it out more. I've been trying to reshape it back to it's original look but that's proving fairly difficult.
