Sorry to deviate from the conversation, but do any of you lovely chaps have any idea how to convert .vtf files to a .jpg or similar? I've tried VTFEdit, but I can't get the bastard to work because of some side-by-side configuration problem.

There are plugins for Photoshop and Gimp, I think Paint.NET as well.
