Eh, I'm not sure if you have any real big chances of that thing getting accepted in game. I don't think Valve is too fond of things that cover the entire face of characters for anyone but Pyro

I like the old tongue better. Sorry, but I think too bright green colors clashes horribly with TF2's artstyle, as well as with your yellow eyes. More darker and less saturated ones work better. It looks too radioactive right now :v:

Remember that by putting it in source you double the face count into tris. An acceptable poly limit is around 400-500 so it sits around 900 tris.

That is assuming you only used quads. Otherwise, it's fewer.
However, it is a fair estimate. I still prefer accurate numbers

Most of the faces are the wheel.
Which is mainly tris.
I'll check what the tris count is in a second.
(checked, its about 1500 cause I forgot to export the foxed model (Which had about 400 useless faces.) and I didn't save it either.)
This will be fun to redo.

The reload for the rifle(s) looks like he's just pushing a button on the side of the gun.
Add his arm going back then moving forward to symbolize him actually using the bolt action and not "button-action."
Also, the anims have that obvious "loop" action where they move then stop. It's painfully obvious with the rifle(s).

Not really sure what kind of pattern to put on it though. I don't really want it to copy the flamethrower's spots...
How would it look with something like gills?
Quick question, have you tried to see if it's still possible to place lenses in front of it (like the deus specs and the sight for sore eyes) ever since you made the eyes rounded? Otherwise it might be a good idea to check how they work and if you need to place your eyes further in.

I never rounded them? I flattened them BECAUSE they were clipping
I'd rather have an enormous Crate key to hit enemies with.
