the homewrecker should have a heavier swinging noise
Okay, that's not hard. I'll see what I can do. [editline]24th June 2012[/editline] the original video footage was deleted, so you'll just have to take my word for it that it sounds amazing :x
I made a pen with a hidden blade for the spy. Any suggestions/feedback? I also need animations for the blade sliding in and out, if anyone's interested in making them.
Remove the tip so it seems it's just retracted when the pen's not in stabby mode.
I think a lot of places have oregano shakers
or even crushed red peppers
Red pepper would be an even more interesting ingredient on that mix.
What would be on blue then? :v:
you're right... in that case, a bottle of hot sauce, with the RED/BLU labels on it?
What would be on blue then? :v:
Blue? But in all seriousness I don't see why the colour shouldn't be yellow - it could be sulphur or garlic powder, of which the former is characterful for the pyro and the latter provides plausible deniability. I'll grant that the red does have some neat possibilities for themes but I'm not convinced it will look very good and, as above, it presents some team colouring issues. That wouldn't necessarily be a big problem but I still lean on a yellow dust as the better option.
What would be on blue then? :v:
Blue pepper, obviously.
Blue pepper, obviously.
Team colored Orange and Yellow peppers?
Jalepeno. /discussion. EDIT: Look at all them spices.
has anyone done a tali mask for pyro?
EDIT: Look at all them spices.
If you'll forgive my pointless intrusion, the blue powder there is actually used in laundry. Having said that, the orange/yellow pepper idea from thatrandomuser is pretty good too.
So I tried to rig the vest. I think it is time to hand it over to someone that knows what they are doing. [del]If anyone is willing to try to rig it, add me on steam.[/del] Pm me on facepunch instead. I'm tired.
If you'll forgive my pointless intrusion, the blue powder there is actually used in laundry. actually used in laundry.
Wut..... this is only your second post here and you're saying that a vender in Morocco is selling laundry detergent not even an inch away from his other spices.... It's a spice shop, selling spice, what you are seeing is a blue spice, not laundry detergent.

If it were in Morocco it would more likely be blue dye for folks who fancy painting their skin that colour. Also, what does it matter whether it's my second or thousandth post?
the homewrecker should have a heavier swinging noise
Skullcutter too.

I wouldn't want anything from that vender, or at least, any of the spices around that detergent. But there are "blue"-ish spices out there. Blue Poppy Seed Dry Roasted Nigella Seeds
it really doesnt need to make that much sense, does it? :V

Got the base colours done. Keep the olive sort of colour from the concept, or try Team Colours?
Got the base colours done. Keep the olive sort of colour from the concept, or try Team Colours?
A few notey thingies here: - The two ends of the chemical pump cylinders need to be a bit wider than the cylinders themselves, keeping to the TF2 underlying theme of exaggeration and making it seem that the main weight of the flamethrower is in Pyro's hands to stop him from looking as if he's going to keel over forwards. - The right-hand side of the back of the cylinder block is a right-angled corner, and the bevel edge starts a short ways in, which will need more space, leading to my next note of: - Possibly moving the back cylinder closer to the front one to accommodate for the corner. - Would it be possible to make the main tubing of the flamethrower body a bit thinner to add to a more futuristic-type take on it? I'm fine if you feel it's good as is, as it'll mean slimming down a few other parts, too, notably the tape and the back-most part of the bent section of the main tubing. - If that goes through, the tube that leads to the in-built pilot light might need to be a bit skinnier to match. - The tape was made to be tied around the main tubing to prevent a leak of the chemicals from an unseen crack, as if Pyro's going to have anything better to work with. Maybe widen the tape so that it doesn't leave any gaps between the rolls. - I'd be interested to see what the handle would look like if it were flipped around, as it'd put the bulky part with the rest of the large machinery and thin out as it goes further down towards the return pipe to the tank. - A question, did it interfere with Pyro's hands too much to have the triangular shape around the base of the trigger? If so, then all's fine. I do like the new trigger, by the way. .. Also, the concept colour was cream spirit, I probably should've used a more clear yellow for the quick translucent layer :v: So far so good, by the way. Liking how it's turning out, even with the few alterations that could be made :buddy:
Very well then, I'll see what I can do. Also, what do you want this to be named?
I was thinking along the lines of the Cleanup Operation, but I'm sure the Emporium folks will be able to come up with a better name than I can for some random chemical-based 'thrower.
I disagree with PM about the main tubing of the body. The current shape looks bulky and creepily industrial in a really fitting way. I also think olive seems like a better choice than cream spirit, but this may be because I think olive is an awesome color in general. It's a really promising item, and I suggest you to go wild with the biohazardous machinery theme. A fuckbunch of wear, tear and dents. Dark trails from leaking liquids. A couple stains and patches. Maybe some white stencil text somewhere.. Oh, name, name, name! Um.. The Bunsenburner The Hazmat Heater The Decontaminator

The Bunsenburner The Hazmat Heater The Decontaminator
I was thinking cream spirit largely because it's rarely seen on Pyro weapons, allowing this one to stand out from the rest should it be given stats in the nigh-impossible event of it being accepted that require it to be easily noticeable as that specific item. That and olive is a colour mostly only seen in Pyro hats, only in the Reserve Shooter as far as I can remember.
I don't really understand what you're trying to say. Cream spirit is rarely seen on Pyro weapons, which means it's a good choice of color because it will stand out. Olive is a worse choice of color because it's rarely seen on Pyro weapons? That doesn't make sense. Also, there are two or three olive-colored Pyro weapons: Reserve Shooter, Postal Pummeler, (arguably) Backscratcher. I don't think there's a single olive Pyro hat or misc. Hm. Assuming that choosing an unique color for the weapon is a good thing to do, this argument was in favor of cream spirit and against olive. That was pretty dumb of me.
Maybe I'll just do a version for each of you.

I think Olive on some Soldier weapons are alright, but otherwise it is a color I do not like much.[sp]I also find the Postal Pummeler and Backscratcher to be just fucking stupid.[/sp]

I'm just really bad at making my points and ideas clear, is all :unsmith:
