I am 100% sure the actual team colors do work, as in I have tested them in other cases aside from the pistol. It's just the pistols seem to be out dated possibly as they still use a 3rd person view model and from what it seems can't use team colors in the slightest. Just wanted to know if anyone could confirm/denie if they can or can not handle team colors.

I mean the only thing I could possibly see him needing is to pay other people to do it. Honestly this just seems like a way to cash in on a fanbase, I am sure any talent modeler could make that in a week and do it all for as much coffee as it takes to fuel them through.

Essentially exactly what I told other people but they're just blinded because "OHH PONIZ I CAN SHOOT RAINBOW DASH WITH TWILIGHT SPARKLE I'LL GIBE HIM MY MONEY". They don't see how he can just take the money and do whatever he wants with it. Hell, he could buy an Xbox 360 or something because of a fucking pony mod.

Really? If he has a computer and Adobe Creative Suite licenses he obviously has a house and a well paying job. He probably has a kitchen stocked with food/he has enough to last him until his next paycheck. The only motivation he should have is making a player model that works.
People on Ponychan are all like "YOU DON'T COMPLAIN WHEN PEOPLE MAKE ART AND CUSTOM TOYS, DO YOU?" no I don't because taking commissions to make something unique for the customer is a completely different thing than asking for donations for doing something any of you guys could do FOR FREE for a large group of people.

Team colors are borked on pistols so I just went with the pistol blue and made the purity seal the proper color. Clips through scouts hand a bit when he reloads but its such a quick animation that it is almost unnoticeable.

However, thoughtless insults tend to reveal genuine negative opinions from the insulter and leave them hanging in the air. I feel a need to make it clear that what I wrote was never intended as an insult and contained no such opinions. I still don't quite understand how you all interpreted it, but I guess I formulated it terribly or something, so allow me to clarify:
Russian workshop spammers are bad, and calling someone one would be an insult, albeit in Constructor's case a very misdirected insult. The reason why Russian workshop spammers are bad is that they try to pass off other people's work as their own. Saying that it's like Constructor is like a RWS who can't copy images, however, implies that Constructor is unable to pass other people's work as his own, and therefore has to resort to doing the work himself. It's like accusing someone of being a paying shoplifter. It's a paradox, a joke. It's not a brilliant joke, and it certainly doesn't deserve the amount of attention it got, but it's still a joke.
I do genuinely think that making an item too similar to an existing, popular one may be a bad idea for the modeler, because the new item may get less popular than it deserves. Since Constructor doesn't mind that possibility, everything's fine in my opinion. And again, the gun itself looks great.
