We based this primarily off of that. Please and Thanks.[/QUOTE] Well, I'm glad you like your promo, but you still need to stick to the Emporium's base promos, otherwise you'll have people saying it's dumb. Also, promos contain pictures of their content, you used a picture that has nothing to do with the content you provided, not a very good move (let alone the fact it's an item most of the community thinks doesn't fit TF2). Use the Emporium promos, and use promo pictures that actually convey what your mod is, besides the textual description.

This is the kind of thing that gets me thinking about what I could do better. Despite that, I don't see what people's problem is with trying to be creative. I can change the spy out for, maybe a small image of what the main portion of the HUD is, or just reorganize the design entirely for say, next emporium, unless Jacen is willing to re-edit the OP with the updated one in the next few days, since the edit coule be done by the end of the week. Guys, since the Apoco-Fists don't fit the game much, why doesn't someone make a Hammer and Sickle reskin of it? The "gib on critical hit kill" would make since the sickle would decapitate them, right?

Innocent newcomer does something differently and slightly worse. Regulars react to this in an overly derogatory way. Newbie feels attacked and gets defensive. Whole thing devolves into pointless hostility. To answer your question: A visually consistent first post of an emporium is both prettier and more convenient to browse than one filled with differently designed promos.

Either way... the idea of a hammer and sickle have been thought of before, but the main issue is replacing Heavy's punching animations. It usually fucks up the animations for other of his melee weapons.

Just take a look back at the Scout's lack of small detail and compare it to your shoes' large amount of detail. My attention was immediately drawn to the shoes when I first saw the picture. Game-play wise, that isn't a good thing. Take a look at every class' original shoes, they have very little detail, so yours should follow suit.
IMHO, it looks nice but it draws way too much attention to the feet with its details.
