I used pistol blue, the same color used on other pistols. Honestly you couldn't have noted this any time other then after I released :v: I am sticking with it and really see no point to change the backpack icons and materials because of a nitpick like that.

I have never textured for anything else. I've tried texturing... Two simple TF2 items, I think. Here's the only one I have the image link to, it's less than impressive:

But yeah, I'm intent on trying it more. It's mostly a matter finding models that are simple enough to not be overwhelming and whose modelers won't mind the risk of bad results.
