I really don't think that's something they should focus on right now, especially since it seems like something that would legitimately distract them from fixing things.

I'm not using custom animations. And assuming that the scorch shot uses a c_model, it's irrelevant whether or not it was seen in the viewmodel or the worldmodel, because they are the same model.

On your original concept art you had it hugging up to the Pyro's back which I think is the design choice you should be going for. Right now it looks almost inflated, i'd suggest shrinking and flattening it further and bringing it's arms round to hang in front of itself so that it isn't deforming the Pyro's profile. If you want to imply that it's got stuff inside of it maybe bulge parts of it out or have an accessory hanging out of it. Also another way to imply it would be to make the bottom of the bear more bulbous, showing there's stuff in the bottom.

I know, I saw that post, but I couldn't find it to see if there was a response to it. I actually tried to export the model, but I got stuck at MDLDecompiler refusing to open. I also tried looking at the model with normal animations, and it actually is the way it's modeled that's causing this odd thing.
Oh well.
EDIT: I just want to add, the main reason I asked this is because I knew that the modifying would be simple to anyone who knew what they were doing with things like blender. I don't, because I spent my free time learning how to tolerate math.

How about more satanic demon wings to either replace or go by the sides of the pyro's tank, but change into feathery white angel wings in Pyroland.

This installs the icons to materials/player/all_class and so forth when it should be materials/backpack/player/all_class.
