I wonder about the color scheme, will you match the top with the belts or go straight to a team color? Maybe do like Svdl did with his and have a black rim on it Maybe give it a pocket on the chest and put something bright/shiny there to compensate for the lack of grenades. That is, unless you want it compatible with grenade miscs. Blacksmith, brown/grey leather apron, dirtied up with scuff and other blacksmith-like details, and the tea towel becomes a scruffy rag. It'll definitely work with grenade miscs, but they'll look silly :P

Not quite the same thing (though they just came out so they were fairly valuable, and closely associated with being a contest runner up, and the hat level was consistent for those distributed so it was essentially proof) but I mean I see where they're coming from. some people don't care as much about virtual hats. now, if I somehow managed to get an item in game, I'd probably keep the self made, but maybe for someone like VLEK who's made so many models and gotten a few in game already he'd have less feeling of pride for it. Who knows. I wouldn't necessarily just simplify it as "a dick move". (of course I'm also apparently the only person who defends that cancer kid selling his unusual)
I also eagerly await the fixed version of the beta muzzleflashes Chaofanatic. Main reason is that I get an explosion of red X when I use them. Rather blinding and laggy.
