The only reason weapons have a higher budget is because they are seen up-close and are often a-lot more complex than a cosmetic. Those shoes are neither, so they should follow the cosmetic budget.

You didn't acknowledge any efforts he made to change them. Toast has a long history of listening to the criticism of others and participating in this very thread. I'm all for people trying to help others make there final products better, but you seem more out for conflict.

I honestly don't see much of a problem with the whole affair. If you want to use the gunboats, don't use the tooth kickers, and vice versa.

I guess Ned wants the game to adhere to recognizability, which I also agree with, but people should be allowed to customize their equipment however hey like within the terms the game permits. If you're not using the Gunboats or Mantreads, why not wear a misc. item that takes their place and looks cool? Also, Lobster_Fists, is your avatar the symbol of the Solar Federation from Rush's 2112? Because that's awesome.

Maybe lighten/darken the different pannels a bit? hint at some form of downward tonal gradient?

I just kind of figured you wouldn't be able to see his watch most of the time, anyway, but I've never really paid attention to the second glove before. Thanks for pointing that out. You've saved me from looking like a complete idiot in an argument that hasn't happened yet.
m not exactly sure why, but my sentry jumper model seems to have gotten a significant amount of attention recently.

It forces your attention towards a spot that game affecting items could be found and confuses you as to whether or not it matters. Further clutter and confusion. It's like putting a passive effect on a hat. (which they kind of did in the polycount sets but that was stupid and they learned from it)
