That sounds pretty lame, no offense. It wouldn't make it any less simple-minded, and the "HE THINKS HE'S A FIREMAN" angle wouldn't be as natural, especially if they were playing it semi-straight. And more importantly it wouldn't be as funny. If they didn't go for the ridiculous candy-land route, the joke wouldn't have even worked. It's not just seeing the Pyro's imaginary candy-land that's funny; it's seeing it juxtaposed to what was actually happening. It had to be crazy and completely different.

Yaaaawn. What does that explain about Pyro? MtP at least focus on his mind and why he does things. Explaining that with "thinks he is a fireman..." well, it makes everything pretty less interesting/scary, and makes him just less insane

Maybe I just pictured him in a different way, and this video just bamboozled me. I never did want a [I]massive extent[/I] of comedy in Meet the Videos. Like I said, the other 8 were funny, but they didn't try so hard to be funny as they tried to be generally good. Valve tried too hard to make mtp funny-ha-ha. Too silly for my tastes.

Are Rainblower and Lollichop the only two strange weapons in the crates? If so, I wouldn't mind trading for them.
Man I got lucky with the crates.
Had about 3 crates, opened each of them to get the new Scout hat, the new Soldier helmet, and some weird shirt for Heavy with 4 styles.
I go to a trade server and trade a guy 2 reclaimed metal for his crate. Open it up to find the Dillinger money bag for Scout.
I trade another guy 2 reclaimed and he's skeptical that it might be a new strange weapon. I open it up, get a Strange Lollichop.

Anyone else think that the new Scout pistol would go great with the Force-A-Nature and Atomizer? Quadruple jump with little to no repercussions.
Sold a strange Rainblower for the Liquidator, the heavy vest thing, Scorched key, and a reg. key.
So far I have a strange rainblower, strange lolichop, and the pyrovision goggles. I need the balloon pony pet and a strange scorch shot :o
